Hi there I followed the feedback you both gave me and went exactly as you described. I now have another 32 zones available in Wintex and it was very easy to do. I can now add 2 more smoke/fire detectors !

No wired devices required

So can I use a Texecom Premier Elite 8XP-W Wireless Expander GCD-0001 or do I need Texecom CCB-0001 Premier Elite 8XP Remote Zone Expander Ideally I would install it right next to the Main Alarm box with a wired connection

Thanks. All my devices are wireless, including the key pads so that means hard wired to the main alarm panel for me. Does the "power supply" come via the 4 wire network cable ?
