    Replacing garage roof - best materials?

    Depends how long you want the new covering to last. Try EPDM membrane as a single layer glued on OSB boards and you shouldn't have to worry again in 20 years. It's more expensive, but it is said it doesn't deteriorate like most felt. It's also perfect for a grass roof!

    closeboarding my roof

    I want to closeboard my roof while retiling but am unsure what boards and sizes are best. Thinking of using OSB 8 mm with 20mm counterbattens, but those boards are classed OSB2, so not for exterior use. With the new breathable felt that shouldn't be a problem. Am I wrong ?
