    Ideal Mini c28 will come on by itself intermittently

    Changed the temp sensor for the central heating,found a loose connection on a connector between the control and ignition PCB also four resistors on the ignition PCB with multiple dry joints,resoldered.Fault not happened since.I expect it was one of these causing it :D

    I have an intermittent problem with our mini c28 boiler it will come on a go of by itself any ideas?The Green light is flashing as normal.It had a new expansion vessel fitted 6 months ago.

    valliant vuw 242/1e problem

    I'm getting a whinning noise from the boiler when initally turning the hot water tap on and for a couple of second after turning the tap off when the central heating is running. Theres no noise when turning the hot water on or off when the central heatings off,any ideas will be very grateful!
