Hi all,
I believe it’s dot and dab plasterboard.
He has gone a little into the breezeblock/ thermalites behind.

Thanks x
Hi there, I think that ship has sailed- the holes are now about an inch across...
I don’t think any size of wall plug is going to fit into the mess that they’ve become
Thanks for you help!
Hi there, we have a very heavy mirror that my husband has just tried to put up on a wall. It needs to go in a very specific place as it’s above a mantelpiece with not much room.
Unfortunately, he messed up and has somehow managed to put huge holes into the wall which now won’t take any wall...

Hi there, I used some flash tape from B&Q to tape some tears and rips in the felt of my attic. It worked great to start with but has peeled off. I suspect it is too hot in there. Any suggestions for getting it to stick or products I could use to help sticking. Thanks so much!
Hi. It's supporting an upstairs floor with a wall directly above, and the roof above that. One end of rsj is sat on external wall, the other end is sat on an internal wall.
Work was done 2 and a half years ago.
Does this sound like padstones are needed?
We have had a structural internal wall removed and an RSJ installed. We didn't get building control sign off at the time so we are trying to get it done now.
It has now transpired that we don't think the builder put in padstones - despite it being in writing in the quote.
Do all RSJs always...
