    In our hall we have a single light switch with three toggle switches. Toggle 1= Loo light Toggle 2= Downstairs Hall Light Toggle 3= Upstairs/Landing Light (With another switch tat the top of stairs which also controls landing light. Toggle 1 & 2 recently started working intermittently...

    Dave, Brandy is safe, drained it down completely, made sure Zone valve was on manual (set to CH). Still not circulating, so a new pump beckons. :roll:

    Thanks for the reply, Still havent got a CH pump as the bl**dy fuel pump on my Fiat Coupe went for a burton in a rather packed car park on a retail park this morning. Good news is I would recommend Green Flag very highly indeed, so I now have two pumps to change! Back on topic, what are...

    Central Heating problem

    This morning I shut off all the radiators except the one that normally heats up first. I then tried again, still the same symptoms, boiler fires up, then overheats? switches off, cools down then tries again. I am going to try a change of pump next and see whether that makes any difference?
