Hi all,
I've lost the security screws that hold the upvc door hinge flaps closed.
I've contacted Mila directly but they don't sell them without buying the whole hinge but they have given me the following information:
026812 - Pan Head S/S 3/16^-24 PH2 Security Screw
Can anybody link to some...
Hi All,
Moved into a new house which has recently had a new kitchen and I'm trying to find the supplier of the cuboard knobs as I need one replacement.
I've attached photos knob and kitchen.
Anyone point me in the right direction?
Hi all,
A few years ago I insulated my garage walls and ceiling - timber stud walls build around 50mm away from brick walls with celotex between and plasterboard over the top etc.
At the time the garage was being used as a home gym so I left the concrete floor as it was and just put down...
Hi all,
Tomorrow I plan on putting my carpet down. I normally use gripfill for the grippers but don't have an extra day to wait for it to go off.
Anybod know if toolstation or screwfix sell anything that would be suitable as I need it for tomorrow?
Thanks
Just found the spec sheet for the cheap siroflex foam you can get from tool station which states 0.030 - 0.035 W/mK so it looks like there all very similar.

Hi all,
I'm going to be using some gun grade expanding foam to fill gaps between pir insulation. Is there much thermal difference between the cheaper £3/£4 cans of expanding foam vs the more expensive ones. If so what would you recommend? Looking for the best thermal performance.
Thanks.
After some other input I was thinking of sealing around the garage door with expanding roam. Then putting up a sheet of dpm around around the garage door / recess and then insulate with 60mm celotex which will then bring it inline with the brickwork and lintel.
Now because I've already setout...
Hi garyo, thanks for your reply. I don't really need the extra space as the garage has a loft area that's already boarded out on the one side. Also not the biggest fan of the extra costs involved. I'm more worried about making sure it's stays as warm as possible in their.
Sorry I should have been more clear. The door is staying in place but not going to be used. I going to do the same as the walls but wasn't sure if 90mm celotex in a stud frame alone won't be enough insulation due to the garage door and garage door gaps.
Wanted some input on weather or not to...
Hi All,
I'm currently insulating and boarding my garage out and not sure the best way forward for behind the garage door.
The garage door is staying in place and i'm building a stud wall (cls 38 x 89) behind it and going to fill with 90mm celotex.
I'm not sure if this would be warm enough so...
