    I know it's not a DIY job. I asked an engineer to come and look but was new to the job and needed to ask his trainer for more advice. That's why I have asked on here. Just to get a bit more understanding of what is needed. Thanks for the advice. I will check this connection first.

    No work carried out recently. What's weird is my boiler has just fired up at midday for a short time. But still "dash dot" on boiler status.

    I have a Ideal Acos HE15 boiler and all of a sudden I have no hot water or central heating. Ideal status has a dash dot symbol. Ideal rep has said that this is a communication error with the PCB. Does this mean I require a new PCB or is this an easy fix?
