    and makes it simpler for the "bedtime turn off routine" if all switches are in the UP position... but as @EFLImpudence says, perhaps its just OCD!

    Nope the other switch in a 1-way and works as "up=off, down=on"... so keen to keep that as is! I suppose an alternative is to flip the entire switch 18- degrees and then just change the wires from 1 to 2 on that side of the switch.... broad as it is long I think!
