The floor is well ventilated..and yes was going to use a good brand. I was just curios if damp from the floor could in theory wick into the chipboard anyhow.

I am looking for some opinions.. I am replacing my subfloor in my lounge. We will be putting a wooden floor down as the final finish rather than carpet. In one of the corners of the room there is a patch of damp.. not sure how long it's been there could be years but all the existing timbers...

Sadly I can't lay board on top as the height will exceed our fireplace hearth. I am thinking about packing.. would that be strong enough. What type of wood should I use.. or should I use some plastic shims or something.

Hi guys, just got a wall hung basin that will of course be hung onto our red brick wall. we have been supplied with some "medium" sized bolts that the guy in the shop said would hold the weight. i guess i am concerned that they wont as the basin is heavy... wot is the risk of the bolts...

its not putty. it does not give any indication of drying time ... just says .. drying is dependant on evaporation?????
