Be extra careful using a leadloc. I hear of someone cutting a lead pipe under a floor recently, using a hacksaw, unfortuantley for him it wasn't a lead mains. It was a lead sleeved incoming mains electricity supply........
Had this on one of these the other day. Was dirt not just in the system but the pipework too. Check the flow and return pipes aren't partially blocked. Try the copper pipes with a magnet to see if it sticks to them. I ended up cutting a load out and renewing.
Ball valve in exp is stuck or cold feed is blocked. there's no water in the system.
If it was the pump it'd still gravitate up the primary.
Always check the easy things 1st instead of looking for things that ain't there.
Ah but potterton with thier huge budget couldn't find the main fault and just updated it for the sheer fun factor. Wereas raden in his shed has found it fixed it and forgoten it.
the bermuda range must be crap as they sold so many of them.
I agree with Agile. regular servicing will keep a BBU in working order longer than a modern boiler.
So no real hands on boiler repair experience then? Just one of those people selling second hand parts for people to fit. How many suprima pcb's have u patched up? Bet thats loads too..........
I my "PRACTICLE" experience the pcb on the solo is very relyable. Unlike the Heat Exchanger, but you...
