    Reuse Hep2o pipe insert

I'm trying to remove the stainless steel hep2o inserts from 15mm barrier pipe with the 15mm blue tool and I'm struggling. Is it possible to remove the inserts?

Connecting 15mm mains water feed to 22mm bath tap

Brilliant, I was just at Toolstation picking the washers up, went next door to return all the bits I didn't need and saw your message so I ordered it then and there, thank you.

Connecting 15mm mains water feed to 22mm bath tap

Purchased, thank you very much. Can you suggest a tool that would make tightening them easier which such restricted access?

Connecting 15mm mains water feed to 22mm bath tap

Afternoon all, getting closer to completion. So the connectors as shown in the photo that will be screwing onto the underside of the bath taps don't have any washers, first question, do they need any? I will be adding some liquid PTFE to their threads, will this be sufficient or should I source...

Connecting 15mm mains water feed to 22mm bath tap

I could use the attached, screw onto the end of the bath taps, but of my 15mm pipe into the end which then goes into one of those isolating valves I previously showed that I used and then into the rest of the 15mm pipework to get to my original copper. Would that work? Is 3/4" correct for...

Connecting 15mm mains water feed to 22mm bath tap

So i've just measured the outside diameter of the thread of the tap end that i intend on screwing onto and its pretty much an inch, so the 3/4 wouldnt fit?

Connecting 15mm mains water feed to 22mm bath tap

So apologies. I cannot stress how thick I am. So when you're referring to the 'pushfit' are you talking about the end of the tap tails connecting onto the last bit of my plastic pipe. To clarify the end of the tail is a pushfit connector type?

Connecting 15mm mains water feed to 22mm bath tap

That's great, thank you very much, I will stick to the 15mm size for the hot otherwise I have to buy 22mm pipe, elbows and the metal inserts and we always had a 15mm hot feed and this is a temporary install anyway. So looking at the product, the end with the isolator on. Does my 15mm plastic...

Connecting 15mm mains water feed to 22mm bath tap

Morning all, So I'm doing this exact same job as the OP. However, I'm not very experienced. Currently I have a 15mm cold copper and a 22mm hot copper which has already been reduced down to a 15mm copper by the previous home owner. I am using hep2o 15mm pipe and connectors to get up to the back...

    Connection from new sink trap

Thank you to everyone's comments, I was annoying myself so lord only knows what you lot are like, I managed to get rid of all the grey push fit that came from the main run just to minimise any later leaks. Everything is solvent welded ready to test later today.

    Connection from new sink trap

Thank you for all the replies, I'm getting close. I don't really want to start replacing the existing push fit under the floor however my next job is to remove the toilet to replace the subfloor so maybe I could try and tackle it when I have some more space. 1st photos shows the 43mm solvent...

    Connection from new sink trap

Ok so I've sorted it, the reducer needed to go into a coupler. So that end is all sorted, I'm now looking at connecting into the existing bit of pipework that connects into the main soil stack. However, my 43mm waste pipe seems ever so slightly to big for the existing grey coupling? Any ideas?
