    Obviously, but I would have expected there to have been the ability to pass the earth through unswitched, to avoid having to kludge something together to maintain earth continuity from the plug to the appliance.

    Went to fit the the NVR switch to the bench today, but am having a problem with the earthing set up, look like it has only 2 pairs of terminals for L/N in the switch? Might have to get a man in to just fit the RCD FCU as suggested and kill 2 birds with one stone.

    Anyway, I've ordered the NVR switch. I've decided not to fit a fused switched outlet for the time being. Ps the machine already has a prominent emergency stop button so that won't be required, but thanks for the replies anyway (it's an older model of the Warco WM240B).
