    as we're already having to take some of the very thick subfloor out due to no insulation and then build back up, would it be worth whilst we're there to just channel out the extra space for this ducting as to not have any spots with less insulation?

    thank you, and would you cut space out of insulation that is on top of the concrete subfloor, or cut out of the sub floor and keep insulation in tact over the top?
