My electric boiler has packed up and a maintenance company has quoted 1325 + VAT to replace it. This sounds a bit high as the boilers online are 358 +vat. Can anyone advise on why its so expensive to fit? can it be done by a normal plumber or will I need an electrician too...

Many thanks I have mains cold water feed - i just wanted to boost the hot. am I best to just boost the blended water?

does a single pump have to be fitted to either hot or cold gravity or can I fit it to the mixed water coming out of the shower and pump the water straight to the shower head? Thanks c
