    Thanks for your reply, I have now taken pollen filters out and will replace them soon and yes air is being recycled. My wife thinks it could be Xmas tree air freshner that was in car!! Clematis.

    BMW 5 series ventilation problem?

    I,ve recently bought a BMW 5 series (2000 reg 520iSE) and when I drive it for any length of time, get a "dry throat" also the windows mist up. Been told it could be a ventilation/air con problem perhaps. Appreciate any advice as it,s putting me off an otherwise fine car
