sorry didnt see the next post, I dont know enough about it to know if the condensate pipe is blocked or not. When the engineer came out first he told me he cleared the condensate and trap if that sounds right

The boiler is not making the same noise (chugging) sounds back to normal at present.

I am covered up to £500 this is paid by insurance, all I have paid is the £140 for a wiring loom and a gas valve.

I now have heat and hot water, engineer turned up and fitted the over heat flue sensor that fixed it he didnt need the board. He then informed me "no offence to you I just want this job over with as i dont get paid for this as its a diagnostic fault and i should have spotted it day 1"...
