I'm looking for something like this but I need the female to be chassis mounted because it's bringing power out not in. Basically I have a 240v ac to 16v ac transformer mounted in a box and need to get the secondary 16v terminals extended to the outside of the box.

Hi all, I'm struggling to find a suitable connector to get 16v ac 30va from a transformer out of the case. I need a 2 pin female chassis mount to a male plug. It's too power an Amcrest AD410 doorbell and chime. Can anyone point me to a suitable connector pair pls?

Some have seals around the front access cover to give improved dust/water resilience. Edit: Just like the one posted by @Taylortwocities above.

Assuming purchased from a reputable source. I have had a look on eBay and there are definitely some shady ones on there at ridiculously cheap prices. I doubt they are compliant with many regs.

I understand where you are coming from but I'm asking "what" the IP rating is required to be, not "IF" it has one.

I would possibly say a case could be made for 5/4 or even 6/4 given that workshop activity could produce a lot of dust. That's why I asked the question of what the regs require in either a garage or workshop environment. I would, I guess have to go for whichever is higher.
