I have taken a radiator off, stripped it down and re painted it, and have put it back in place, it is a double, about 8' long, how do I re fill the system with water, do I just put water back into the tank??,I have been trying to get a plumber, but met Lord Lucan first!!!!!.

A couple of years ago we re - furbished our Cricket Hut, and one of the things that was completed was a new shower,it was made with a stud wall,lined with ply board and then tiled onto the board,all was well for the 1st summer, but last year it started to leak onto the outside walls about 2ft...

I am going to put new skirting boards in our back room,but we have solid floors and the central heating pipes go round in front of the skirting boards.We want to stain the skirting rather than paint them, any ideas on how to hide the pipes or a way of finishing them so they don't stand out too...

thanks for the info on Artex, another one now, We have a solid floor and obviously the radiatir pipes are attached to the skirting board, how can I hide the pipes? cut a channel in the floor ??

The Ceilings in our lounge has been artex-ed, how do I get this off or can it be plastered over ?? advice needed urgently to get the wife off my case
