where would a bypass like to be? The reason I ask is that the pump is in the boiler housing and when I was measuring the temperature difference between flow and return, I noticed what looked to be a bypass in there, only no valves to alter flow across it

Can anyone point me in the right direction. I've moved into a house which is costing me a fortune in gas and I can't get i warm. The central heating is an unvented system with a megaflow HE cylinder, valliant boiler and 22 rads. amoungst other things to try and sort it out I've had the system...
