    It certainly won't be more than 3kW, more likely 2.3kW no more. Thanks for the help, I'll get hold of one and give it a go! I'm guessing it there is no cable attached I just need a standard piece of heat resistant flex and wire one end to the oven and the other to a plug and then shove it...
