Fluid Master 747 side entry valve

Yes, they can be rotated. Not a problem, adjust for vertical and just make sure the float and valve lever is not impeded by side of cistern or any other object.

Fluid Master 747 side entry valve

This happens from time to time. I've had a couple over the years that have done that. Looks like the later models have been redesigned to avoid this. I would get in touch with FM UK Support...

    GlowWorm Ultima 50 BF problem

Can't even remember where the boiler was, let alone what the end result turned out to be! Nearly 4 years ago. Possibly the Fan, but otherwise, unless I remember during my sleeping hours, I can't offer any more help, sorry, Regards

Ravenheat CSI Primary Condensing Boiler not firing.

Thanks for the info. To cut a long story short, called in a HE who diagnosed air in the pilot flame feed tube... eventually. This wasn't being purged in the short time the ignitor had to ignite the pilot flame, due to the very small holes of the pilot injector not letting enough air through...

Ravenheat CSI Primary Condensing Boiler not firing.

Yes and Injector OK. Gas solonoids measure at about 4K each, and there is 210V DC across the solonoid which actuates when applied. Measuring right hand most pins... O O O O O n/u E ^ ^ sorry, posted ASCI art...

Ravenheat CSI Primary Condensing Boiler not firing.

Boiler was out of service whilst building work completed. Boiler was recommissioned but fails to fire. :( From Mains ON and CALL for heat, Pump starts, Fan starts, Gas valve ON, Ignition sparks, but no burn, then flame failure light comes ON. Injector looks clean, spark tested with external...

    Sunvic Duoval DM4601 Actuator replacement

Hello all. Has anyone replaced, or is it possible to replace, the 4601 actuator with any other from the Sunvic/Duoval range, which might be a cheaper option than getting a replacement 4601/5602 actuator? Regards,

    Megaflow DD210 with Electric heating

Thanks for the advice. Had a look at web site. Not a lot there to be honest, certainly not what I'm looking for. Or at least no downloadable manuals or instructions for the DD210 that I could find. A bit of a warren. Thanks again, regards,

Your ideas please. Shower tray draining into SaniFlo

The shower drain is clear, the inside of the saniflow is clean (well ish). The only thing I can see wrong is that the saniflow non-return valve on the shower side is floating about inside. I am a bit loathe to put the whole thing back togetehr when I can't see anything wrong. Nope not fixed...

    flue route

I thought he was talking about fire in garage entering into kitchen via flue. Having a fire in the garage may be the more serious if there is petrol involved, especially if the garage is internal.

Kitchen fan extractor what types are available??

Internal, Inline, External. Internal to cooker hood. Look at the motor power consumption to get an idea on how powerful the extracter is for comparison with others. External. Fits on the outer wall of the building, tends to be more powerful as it can be bigger then the cooker hood type...

    flue route

Don't know about any reg's but if my garage (internal to the extended house now) needed a ceiling of double layered plasterboard to meet the regs (at the time). Then I suppose you could box your flue with double plasterboard?? regards

    extractor flue

A personal point of view... Can I stress that it is always best to extract, not recirculate. Charcoal filters will not get rid of moisture. Having a kitchen at full blast generates a lot of steam/moisture and unless you want that to condense elswhere in the property, then always extract. Also...
