    The main trip is the one that is tripping, this is the second hob that has been sent and it is the same problem with both it seem there is a short circuit in the appliance as if you remove the link it does not trip.

    the MCD is tripping the rcd does not trip it is the main switch tripping

    i have just purchased the above hob on installattion the unit keeps on tripping the electrics even with a 45amp breaker this is the second unit they have sent out. Any ideas????
