    A 20 litre jerry can so I can pick up diesel (for my diesel heater) without the cashier at the local Morrison's getting overly miserable about me using an old Adblue container. For heaven's sake, it's only slightly more inflammable than a housebrick. I know; only doing her job... Oh, and a tent...

    What is the furthest you have traveled without using a plane on any part of the journey?

    Southern Spain in a motorhome. Several times. Next trip includes Portugal, but via Santander for a restful(?) change instead of the channel ferries (although we'll come back via Dieppe or Caen or LeHavre as the fancy takes us).
