Just recently used one-coat onto a similar background, PVA all the way! can't go wrong...

Luckily the gutter man called me back and fingers crossed he's coming round on friday to check it out.

So my gutter fell down about 3 weeks ago and i call in a local fascia company who explained it was a "big problem" etc, needless to say they quoted me quite a lot and as we've been having some rain i decided to go ahead with it.... now we are faced with an even bigger problem, we now have water...
