lucid, its more to do with the loudness of the volume rather than the clarity...its just not very loud on full volume at all!!! obviously slightly louder when not travelling but alas road noise really gets in the way of listening to dvd even with headphones on...

i wouldnt connect up to the car speakers tho does it not come complete with speakers ( i notice the 1watt version does!)

the kids have a 2 screen, Bush 9" dvd player for the back of the car but they constantly complain that the volume is naff!! And it is!!!
Is there anything i can add to it, whether internally(electronic components) or externally( decent output plug in speakers...
by the way..... which pcb do you think is at fault. I seem to have found a couple on this machine....
one at the rear left and the console pcb at the front!!!
not sure which one would be the faulty one!!!

the two black wires to the thermistor are ok. I know the thermistor itself is fine as i took it to work and used the multimeter on it! the two black wires to the heater at the rear of machine are fine as ar the wires to the heating element!
should i fear the worst and get...
cheers rocks... will check wires/ heater at rear ( when ive found it!)...etc..
but why would thermistor/ntc fault etc cause probs on the wash side of things?

hi all....can i pick ya brains!!!
we have a hotpoint wd440p that is playing up!
The wash cycle starts off all well and good..after about 10 mins the on/off button flashes as well as the rinse hold light and time saver light ( 3 and 4)
While lights are disco dancing machine drains ok.....but...

yup, seems to be power there, pilot is lit and nowt is happening.
Guessed i would need to call RGI...was hoping to find the source of prob without forking out big bucks!!!
checked and double checked.... all is as it should be with regards knobs,switches,controls etc...... even with timer set to constant, selector set to heating and with boiler thermostat control manually set from 1 through to 5 nothing fires up other than the sound of the thermostat micrositch...
