i tested it using a circuit tester and it shows 230v dont worry guys i am practising to become an electrician so i know the basics. i think i will have to keep calling the plumber till he answers the phone thanks anyway guys.
The pcb fuse is ok and has not blown, the model is a ravenheat 85t. There are no lights illuminating on the display at all and there is no room stat fitted to this boiler, as for the pump switch i cannot see a switch for this anywhere.
Thanks guys for your info, the boiler itself has been hard wired into a fused spur and i have tested the live terminals in the boiler itself and there is power coming into the boiler. i have checked the fuse and made sure its a 3amp fuse like the manufacturer has stated but still nothing.
well i did call ravenheat and they require the installers corgi number but he is unavailable at the moment. has anyone any ideas what the fault may be is there anything i can do to check?
Hi all i have purchased a ravenheat combi boiler and just had it fitted however it will not come on. The system has been filled up but still will not light up, there are no noises coming from the boiler at all. The installer suggested that it was an electrical fault. Can anyone help?
