The only ‘extension’ we have is the conservatory (added in 2007 I think) which will be removed to allow us to do the extension. The conservatory is more than half the width of the house.

It’s more of a timing issue. We can’t see any reason why we wouldn’t get planning but would prefer not to have to wait months for planning

We would like to do an extension on our detached property but the rear wall of the house is stepped. We want to do the 4m extension under permitted development. We would like to square the extension off but this would mean it is 4m from the outer back wall and 5m from the stepped back...
