No chance, closed system - BG dont like sharing their knowledge. They also had a program called Xsol which would walk you through the fault finding of certain boilers (including where to place your Multimeter Probes) and what part and how to change it.

had a ravenheat boiler on friday...with hot warer running pressure stays fairly stable at 1bar, soon as the dhw is turned off the pressure shoots up. when u then turn the tap on the pressure drops. cant understand this..filling loop is not passing. think the expansion vessel is knackred cos...
i queried this yesterday,,,,suspect aav....it is leaking...but would that really be enough to have a full drop by morning...is prv sus?...have ordered aav anyway as it is leaking into the comustion chamber...help

Fair do's.... its definatley weeping at the top of the auto air vent.....so is it a case of draining down and then unscrewing the vent with a pair of grips?....oh yeah i've used the prv in the past to reduce the pressure as her son filled it up to 3bar (dont ask me)..but have i gone and...
full drop....its not the actual screwing in cap...its actually the body of the vent...at the top that seems to be weeping....its not actually my boiler but my aunts...but the pressure drop occurs when the boiler is off...so cant be more than over 8hrs....

got a worcester 240 balanced flue boiler..its old...pressure is droppin overnight...auto air vent appears to be weeping round edges.....could this be the problem....and can it be replaced...thanks
