We have a dog who sleeps in the room and it is fairly cold, we will probably have it on overnight or at least for a few hours before we go to bed on a night to take the chill out of the room for the dog.

I have just been mucking about with this and it seems like the fitting can easily be pulled off the grey pipe without even loosening the screw fitting thats meant to hold it in place.
