The hot water pressure seems good, when the tap is fully open it gushes out well. If the heat exchanger was scaled up would the water pressure be reduced?

Central heating works o.k however it does get really quite hot too. How do you descale the system, is it something I could try to do myself (i'm a car mechanic but can tackle most things :D )

Could the adjustment of the switch also be the cause as the complete unit is relatively new as the last one completely seized and leaked. On the otherhand why is the water scalding hot?

If the hot water flow switch was sticking wouldn't the light on the PCB still be lit?

It stops about 5-10 secs after the tap is closed, and then a short while later a relay clicks. The water is also very very hot.
