Adding 2 more photos of fan and switch wiring

OK, thanks for the replies. I should have checked the wiring at the fan, I'll do so in the next day or two and post the photo. My recollection is that the fan would come on when the light switched on but I'm not 100% sure. I don't live there.

The bathroom fan switch above the door turns on the fan & the light. The light switch turns the light on and off, but when the fan is on the light switch doesn't turn off the light. I understood the fan switch should be left in the "ON" position, that is why it is installed high above the door...
