The area is under 5 meters so i can do the the floating floor method, is it best to glue the tongue and groove? and if so with what type of glue

I am about to fit Elka oak flooring to lounge and dinning room both have concrete floors both are quite level !
On instructions it states that you should adhere to sub floor with a water free , alcohol glue specially for wood ! and there is no need to apply glue to tongue and groove ...
Now have heat to all rads , but does not seem to be that hot ! System has been drained for about 14 months, so i am taking advise on flushing the system with Fernox ! will this help ?
Question : when it says add Fernox to header tank is this the small tank in the loft next to the main water...

Chris , when you say the rad nearest the pump is that the Grundfos in the linen cuboard ? also when you say open the rad quarter of a turn is that both ends ?

I have bled the rads but made little difference ! whole rad is either hot or luke warm in each room
Do you need to follow rads in sequence to balance the system if so how do I tell which is next in line ? also can it be done without radiator thermometer, if not where will i get one and how...

We have just moved into new house that has been empty for a year and has had the system drained , we have refilled the system and fired up the boiler
First problem is some radiators are getting hot ! others...

Not sure of the boiler model type but will find out tommorow, I do know its not a combi boiler and yes there is a airing cuboard !

We are just about to move into a house that has had its water system drained for the past year ! are we likley to encounter any common problems with the central heating system , and is common practise for a system to be drained when stood empty for a period of time ?
