    Thanks Guys. As predicted, it rained over the weekend I had planned to do it. I got a Sunday afternoon to do it the next weekend though. Did the 1 coat of slurry and allowed to dry. Then another coat of slurry and a 3:1 render with fibre glass. I found the 2nd coat of slurry dried too...

    Thanks both. I am going to be using Febond SBR. Can't find any mixing stats on that though. So say I was using 1:1:1 would that really be say, 1 cup of water, 1 cup of SBR and 1 cup of cement? Likewise for Roy's mix; 3 cups of cement and 1 cup of SBR? Thanks Dave

    I am going to give this a go over the weekend, provided it doesn't rain (I'm in Scotland - currently raining) I've got the SBR, I've got some fibre-glass threads (not sure if I need those), got the cement. What I haven't been able to find is a mixing ratio and ingredients for the cement...
