    Underpinning a garden wall.

Hello. I had to dig a hole near a retaining wall as water was gathering and I needed a low spot to get a submersible pump in. It's done the job but the hole has got bigger due to the sides slumping. It's now starting to go under the walls foundations I'd like to pour concrete in there but it's...

How do you pay your national insurance (literally)

Thanks everyone. I've had a look at the website gas 122 added. It's helpful but I don't think the problem I'm having is to do with any changes as I often have a problem with NI. Cheers

How do you pay your national insurance (literally)

I recently did my self assessment and I can't find how to pay my NI. It says you can pay it at the same time but I can't find out how. I can't remember how I did it in the past. Anyone know? I googled it but no luck.

Ducting from air brick, through solid floor to timber floor.

I don't think there's enough room under the existing for that. I'll check though. As one end is currently quite low I was thinking of having 100mm of jablite under 100mm of celotex. Instead of just building up with subbase. What about putting the ducting in the jablite? Strangely there's...

Ducting from air brick, through solid floor to timber floor.

So in with the hardcore? How thick was the insulation? Cheers

Ducting from air brick, through solid floor to timber floor.

As you've probably guessed the extension has solid floors and I need to get the air through it to the existing wooden ones. I've seen 110mm brown pipe used but is there anything else. Preferably something a bit smaller then it will allow room for 100mm celotex over the top. Cheers.

    Console Steering wheel

Sorry I didn't know there was a message. I've been waiting to do an update but it's still dragging on so I'll do a bit now in case anyone's interested in seeing what CEX are like with after care. They have sent a clamp for the steering wheel but it's the wrong one. I'll tell them soon but...

    Console Steering wheel

Yes I had thought it worth while getting the pro also. The only thing with the pro I chose is it's says no DLC (downloadable content). And it's the only console I saw that mentions this. They all say no game but the other ones don't mention DLC. I assume that won't be a problem? Also I tried...

    Console Steering wheel

As Freddie's twin suggested it's an older one. Only about £15. I got an unbranded one at the same time for a tenner as they were so cheap and incase the other one didn't work on Xmas day. And that one didn't have any clamps either so I thought maybe they don't need them. Cheers

    Console Steering wheel

Yes he's got a ps2 I picked it up for pennies a few years ago and he still loves it. I've downloaded the cex app so I'll send them a message. Maybe they stated there's no clamp and I missed it. He wants a ps4 now as his classmates all have them. Any advice on that would be good? Cex do 500gb...

    Console Steering wheel

Logitech. I'll attach I picture. The bottom of it isn't flat. I'm wondering if you're meant to hold it between your legs, which would work but it would make it hard to use the pedals at the same time.

    Console Steering wheel

Hello. I bought a used steering wheel for the little boy for Xmas. Got it from CEX. But there's no way of clamping or sticking it to the table. I don't know about this sort of thing but I would have thought something should have come with it but what can I get to hold it down or should I...

    Stepped DPC question

Thanks people, in not too surprised it's ok but it did feel wrong. Cheers.

    Stepped DPC question

Due to a sloping site a step in DPC is needed. It's being rendered below DPC so I'm using blocks and a step of 215mm works out perfect as the interval floor is stepping down as well. But I'm not sure what I've got in mind will cut it with building control as it's one big step. I'll attach a...
