    How to keep my external brick wall shiny

    I just grind the bricks on my external wall. The colour looks fade just when brush with some water looks shiny. Is there any way to keep the bricks in my wall bright? I hear the Boiled Linseed Oil will do the job!!! or maybe this other sealant... Slate and Pabble clear any suggestions...

    the grind is so thing that you can even notice, and the finish is good although not as I would like to be. definitely a better look now. this is a Victorian 3 floor house and it should never have been painted. I bought a 5 litres of storm-dry water sealant I hope it does the job and protect...

    my wall was painted and I did removed the paint using some chemicals, then I ask a professional company to come over and clean the bricks with acid the result was so bad very bad. I ask some other company to do a test and leave the wall in one colour but they could not do it. and the only way...

    Does an external wall need stabilising solution ?

    I just grind the wall in my front house I am not planing to paint over, but i was advised to used stabilising solution. Any advised? I am going to used an storm-dry water sealant after that would that be OK? thanks [/b]

    different between SBR bond and Stabilising Solution

    it means I should not used? There was no way to clean the bricks with acid so i had to grind the wall.
