Can anyone recommend the best way to plasterboard a steel beam so that it meets the appropriate building regs, as above the beam is a habital room. Also what size board to use.

Was wondering if the regs that state the minimum/maximum height of sockets and switches (450mm-1200mm) also applied to a fused connection unit. for a kitchen extraction fan, as i would like to put the connection unit up high, possibly above the kitchen units.

Am currently having new kitchen built at rear of house and the main incoming water is being moved to this room. I need to get a 10mm2 earth bond from this pipe to the main earthing terminal at the front of the house. Can anyone suggest away of doing this so that an unsightly earth cable...
