    Error Code Keston Boiler

I just been to look at one of these today. Checked the error code history and E.80 popped up. The boiler was acting very strangely. The spark ignition was constantly sparking and the pcb was detecting a flame current of 4.8 micro amps even though the gas was turned off. Spoke to Keston to...

newly fitted flat panel radiator cold

I hope you haven't got cream carpets! It's best to use an aquavac to suck the water from the rad (40 quid from wickes) or else crack open one of the valves and put a bowl under it. Use the bled screw to control the amount of water coming out. Can be a very messy job. If it's a tall rad say...

    Boiler Books

Get the Corgi book and be very familiar with it's contents. This is the book you tend to use in the ACS exams.

A plume kit is not designed nor approved for going through a roof. that is what a vertical flue kit is designed for.

    Radiator Troubles

If you turn off all the rads that are working, this will force the hot water into the ones that are suspect. If they heat up nicely then you've got a balancing problem.

    Curved radiators

Just note that they are pretty heavy and difficult to man handle and mount on a wall due to their offset centre of gravity.
