Dear all, I have recently purchased a 32amp double pole switch from tlc-direct.com. However the neon light has not come fitted!!. The light has two very thin insulated wires. How do I connect this light :? :? :?: Many thanks in advance.

Yep, 32amp on the hob and 20amp on the oven. In fact I am going to replace all the (rewirable) fuses on my fuseboard with the plug in MCB's that I found at tlc-direct too. Thanks for all your help ban-all-sheds :D

thanks guys, :idea: I'm about to order from http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/ 4.0mm 3183TQ 3 core Butyl Flex Black, rating=35amps, for the hob & 2.5mm 3 core butyl, rating=25amps, for the oven. Does this sound o.k. :?:

thanks very much again for your reply ban-all-sheds :D , I'll have to check the instructions, not sure if they mention heat resistance. For my own cautious, tiny mind can you confirm that I can use 4 and 2.5mm T&E and its not necessary to use flex :?:

Further to my posts above, the appliances did not come with flex. Can someone advise me where I can get 6.0mm flex for the hob and oven :? or should/can I use flat 6.0mm T&E to connect to the cooker switches? Hob=6.6Kw Oven=3.3Kw Thanks in advance of any advice.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply "ban-all-sheds", think i'm gonna try the oven with a 13 amp fuse. Oh also, you don't really think I had any part whatsoever in the choice of appliance do you?! I just pay and do! :roll:
