If it was that easy I would of done that already. I can see forums have gone downhill since I last used them with any regularity.

I know that my existing EX6s are connected to 'drivers' of some kind. What I don't know is of the EX6s can control LED downlights, assuming the right drivers and bulbs are used.

Lets assume the the sockets that the EX6s that control strip lighting are fitted are wired the same as my normal switches which control LED downlights, for arguments sake.

Does that impact my desire to control mains downlighters with an EX6 switch?

Not compared to some lighting systems that are 12V Ltech do dimmers for such systems.
