We have the room done in brilliant white emulsion so that would he the paint. If I knew if wouldn't peel i would be fine with that, will the different colour effect anything at all or will it still be fine just difference in colour. Or if given more time will it change colour and look light pink...

No idea how old the bonding was but wouldn't imagine it was old. The white in pictures is where i skimmed it all with fine filler as the skim coat wasn't perfect. I will leave the dehumidifier on every night for next 4 days or so and see how it looks. Last time didn't seem to take anywhere near...

Yeah could do that when drive is done, would you get a manhole cover that can get blocks in aswel and then just paint the rest of concrete? Didn't know whether to cut the concrete or what but think keeping it simple would be best when done. Also didnt know wether to get garage door inbeetween...

One of company's that said 50mm of concrete did local Mercedes dealership etc and has been going for years and offers 10 year warranty etc. But I do agree surely think hardcore is better, I will get in touch and ask the questions about base prep and see what they all come back with. Thanks dean

10 year warranty with hundreds of great reviews. Great on Facebook checkatrade and there website. Great testimonials etc. Just the 2 company's I have had out said same thing about using concord so no subsidence etc they say most people doing that way now instead of using deep mot type 1 only...

The 2 i have spoken to say 50mm semi dry comcrete base then sharp sand then 50mm papers ontop ? Also is it advised to drop pavement the end as I have to drive over path so may get that concreted aswel. Thanks dean

That sounds great for up again the bifolds, and if laminate ever needs lifting in kitchen side I can get to the edge where it meets wood boards and use a threshold and change I suppose, it's hall and kitchen diner that's why wife wants it to carry all way through that's all. Thanks dean
