Ok might be a bit of a expensive option. I will try the angle grinder see if that works.

I tried that around the slab which meets the new concrete but it didn’t do much sadly. I’ve not tried it directly on the concrete itself though

Why resin gravel?

I’m unsure I would be able to relay that slab as it’s also below the step. Angle grinder might be a option but I’m happy to hear all suggestions.
