John, It flashes red and green. When the alarm has been activated the blue strobe comes on. It's an ADE 8ep420 Reason 8 box. The wiring is right. I think it is designed to light up like that. thanks very much for your help. Best regards David

I have just installed an alarm in my shed. It's a Accenta/Optima compact led keypad with a PIR and a door contact magnet. I have a sounder and ext bell on the system. Every works except when I try to set it all it does is beep quickly. It doesn't set. Any idea why that is? Cheers David
