Of course. My neighbours are lovely and super understanding. Thanks for confirming for me.... Half expected it to be the external stop tap but it felt very flimsy
Ahhhh so shouldn't be an issue then changing the internal one as we should be able to easily shut off the external stop tap to shut off supply while works done? Basically that black handle is what shuts off the main water supply to my flat and presumably the other two flats?
Also attached is my internal meter and stop tap. Not sure what thag blue handle is......seems stiff though and didn't wanna muck around with it. Recently moved in within last several months, so in process of changing a few things.
Hi all.

Can't I'm afraid. Octopus contacted Cadent themselves and they then called me. They classed it as emergency and right now cadent are here changing the shut off valve. Alot can change within the hr, jeez. The guy said it was severely rusted, but it turned okay but it was best to have it changed...
Hey all
Had our rads all changed last week and the engineer noted our gas meter had a severely rusted shut off valve. He advised me to contact my gas company to have it replaced. Anyway I'm with octopus and they advised my it's Cadents responsibility. I will be calling them soon to replace...
Shall it bring the kwh down? It's at 18kwh atm. The rads we had put in were single panel plus. Do not your standard singled panel
Do you suspect a issue?
The service was also done and everything looks tip top shape
Hi guys. New rads fitted. There was barely any debris or sludge, just slight in that one rad in my room, they drained it all out and water was barely discoloured. Flat sooo cosy. So after they left I kept heating on and checked the temps. 40 - 61c. 41 - 56c
