Hi there,
I have just moved into a property where there is an Ideal 35Kw Combi boiler installed.
On the roof there are 36 Solar Thermal Heating Tubes for the water.
Inside the attic, it looks like the builders have removed the pumping station and the tank, there is nothing to join the...
I totally agree that it is rediculous to have to change a boiler after three years. Although I do understand that things go wrong with mechanical items I seem to be receiving a catalogue of faults with this unit and all now that it is out of warranty.......very annoying.
The installer was not...
Thanks for that reply Tony. Yes I checked the benchmark and I am all too aware that what people say they do and actually do may be at polar opposites, but due to the fact I am not a plumber I have to pay and have some qualified in to do the work. Egg sucking aside, thanks for taking the time to...
Just one note worth mentioning. When the boiler was installed, all the pipe work was changed for new pipework. Surely this would negate the fact that there should be dirt in the system?

Is there anything else to check before I get this looked at?
It sounds expensive......I take it I will have to have the system power flushed as well as part of the resolution of the issue......?
Really appreciate the help here.

With regard to the litres per minute here are the results of that test:
Downstairs kitchen tap open full on hot: 10litres per minute.
Upstairs bathroom tab for shower open full on hot: 15litres per minute.
With regard to this temperature, I have to take the boilers word for it reading as...
Hi there, I have recently had a sevice on my boiler following the following faults:
F4 error - got this resolved with Viessmann which was great.
F5 error - got this resolved in the service and saw the flap that got "stuck"....what a design!
Now after these annoying "issues" that happen...
