Hi, I am installing a solid wood floor. 18mm oak 140mm strip. I have a 70's house, removed old armstrong times to reveal a horrible layer of sticky bitumen. Had contractor over and has told me not to out screed over this, will need to be removed...aargh! worst nightmare. Does it need to...
