That’s my concern. They were previously attached into the joists but were removed to allow the floor frame and boarding to be fixed to the joists. The straps are now bent up and screwed into the loft OSB boarding.

They disappear into the wall

We have recently had our loft boarded, where (what I believe to be) the gable wall straps were removed from the frame of the house and refixed into the risen loft boards. Before and after images are included. Is this safe, or do these need refixing directly to the house? Thank you for any...
