OK. After many phone calls and a service visit, we got a new cooker. The minute minder volume is slightly louder, but if you buy one of these cookers, don't expect to hear the 'beep' in another room. Or even in the kitchen if the radio is on and an extractor fan going. It seems a shame that...

We've just bought a new zanussi cooker zcv563dw, but the minute minder timer volume is so quiet that it can't be heard over the sound of the oven fan, and certainly not in the next room. Does anyone know if this is a fault, or if they are all like this?
