Tried the working TV with the other LED board but made no difference (No LED’s lit - just getting red slow flashing standby and a blue flashing LED on T Con). While I had it apart I swapped the power board, main board and T Con board between the 2 tv’s
Working tv is ok still but other tv is...
Thanks - very interesting, I have changed out the main board with a working unit so it definitely points towards the LED’s. I don’t mind replacing them all to get it going again. Or if I do strip it down it may just be one strip that’s causing the issue.
Yes I swapped the board from the non working TV and it powered up the other TV (so that's ruled out).
Yes I tried the usual basic steps also but nothing cleared the issue. I'm thinking if I can extend the LED connector cable from my working TV's LED board to the faulty TV then that could...
Hello
My TV has recently developed a fault, as the title says all that happens when the power is turned on is the Red standby indicator blinks continuously but the TV never actually comes on.
I have already tried to replace the power board and several other components from a working TV (Same...
I have now fixed the problem - in the picture there is a 22mm pipe capped off, this was actually the HW feed to the en-suite mixer.
The far right 15mm is the connection back from the mixer(Hot) I have connected these together and all is now working.
Bit of a head scratcher but got there in the...
Think I may have found the issue - plumber hasn’t been back out yet but I’ve had a look where the cylinder used to be and the 4 x 15mm pipes are all connected together. Am I right in thinking one of these used to feed the hot water and is now connected to the cold mains supply?
Could it be my...
No this is the first time I have tried the hot water in the en suite since the boiler install. Yes I will get the plumber back, only problem is the ceiling where the pipe work was done has now been reinstated ♂️
Yes they changed the pipe work - I have a main bathroom which has a shower and basin (all working) another en suite with shower and basin (all working) but in this en suite only the basin is getting the hot feed.
The new shower mixer is a single unit which is cold both sides when connected...
I have isolated the cold feed to the boiler and still have water coming out of both pipes that feed the mixer. All other hot water outlets are off as expected.
So it looks like both pipes are now cold mains fed - I can’t understand how this can happen really as surely all the HW outlets are fed...
