Is it common for soil vent pipes to make noise when the sun hits it Have one internal to the front of the house and one external to the back of the house. When the sun rises in the morning, there's no need for an alarm clock as it (internal) sounds like the whole thing is cracking very loudly...

Thanks, sorry don't know what dot & dab / stud is. It's happening in a few areas house was built over winter so I put it down to drying out. Developers answer for everything. But a few areas have the skirting as well as the wall which is the bigger concern. Do you know why it runs up the wall...

Hope somebody can put my mind at rest. Is it normal for a new build house to have cracks in the skirting that then runs a little up the wall. The house was build complete in March. Photo attached.
