I have a VW Gold 1.6 16V 2001, it runs perfectly apart from intermittent starting, it will turn over sometimes but just not fire up. a taxi driver said the coil in the solenoid could be cracked, making it start usually when cold but not so good when hot. can anyone help, and does anyone know...
